Dear Parents,
As some of you already know, I was in a bad car accident two and a half weeks ago. My kids and I were all injured. We are all recovering, but it is slow. I am doing my best to make it back to work. I have been able to do half days at this point.
I wanted to let you know the plan for your children and getting their IEP service hours met (which is the times that they are with me). Most of my teaching times are in the morning so many kids are not affected. For those groups in the afternoon, I am providing work for paras to do with them so they maintain their skills. I am documenting the hours missed with students so I can slowly start making them up once I am back to full speed. If you have further concerns, please let me know or talk to Mr. Trujillo.
