Parents,
The holidays are stressful. They are stressful for kids because they often don't know what is coming next or when will it ever end. (Think about it Aunt Sally may drive you nuts with her endless stories but at least you know you are going home.) As we chatted at our parent meeting, visual schedules can help. Here are some pictures that you can use if you need some visuals if you need them. Remember to work out break times. Kids can make it through new experiences when they get a few minutes to take a break and regroup. I hope this helps! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Welcome! Parents and Kids! Here is a place that I will put all communication about upcoming events, community events and support as well as resources to help my students learn.
